The "Sweep-In" reclaim system, while economical, can be labor-intensive depending on the blasting volume and blast room size. Abrasive media needs to be manually shoveled or pushed into the gravity feed hopper for reclamation. It serves as a cost-effective solution for media recycling in low-volume operations. However, this design is not suitable for medium to high production blasting operations due to its manual handling requirements, which can lead to inefficiencies and increased labor costs. For higher production levels, more automated and efficient reclaim systems like "H", "U", or full floor reclaim systems are recommended to optimize productivity and minimize operational costs over time.
